Description

This is the advanced module of Ateneo CCE's Diploma in Applied Project Management

Many organizations seek for the link between strategy and execution. This module is designed to provide the roadmap and competencies necessary to create a successful project management organization.

In this module, we will explore how companies manage and implement strategy in a projectized environment. We also look in the model that describes how to create a high-performing project management organization.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
New Project Managers, Project Team members, Project Sponsors, Project Proponents, Division Managers, Business Development, New Product Development, ISG, WNTG and other functional managers.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNITS
As a Registered Education Provider (REP), the Ateneo Center Continuing Education (CCE) can award professional development units (PDUs) to project management professionals (PMPs).

As a PMP®, PMI requires you to attend sixty (60) hours of professional development activities within three (3) years.

By attending the Diploma in Applied Project Management: Advanced Module, you get to learn from the experts, exchange ideas with fellow classmates, and earn 52 PDUs.

After the course, you will be able to:

  1. Learn how to strengthen the link between strategic planning and execution;
  2. Provide effective means of improving a project; and
  3. Appreciate the importance of a project management office (PMO).

Strategic Management

The world of business is changing dramatically. To cope with today’s and tomorrow’s challenges, technical and functional managers have to be outward-looking, proactive, and able to think strategically. The course provides training in skills to: 

  1. Think Conceptually and Critically: To help managers become more adept at viewing their companies from the larger perspective of the global business environment
  2. Contribute to the Company's Overall Effectiveness: To train managers in using analytical tools to derive corporate strategies that they can participate in implementing
