Description

Business writing is a skill that can be learned well.

This is a two-day course designed to enhance professional writing. This course is for professionals who prepare and edit business proposals, memos, and letters for high impact results.


PRE-COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
On the first day of the class, you are requested to bring soft and hard copies of:
a.    Business letters
b.    Memos       
c.    Emails
d.    Sections of a report
e.    Minutes of any meeting

Objectives

After the course, you will:
1.    Write clear and concise business documents;
2.    Discuss updates in business writing;
3.    Propose revisions to existing business documents; and
4.    Use Microsoft Word as an editing tool to gauge readability of business documents.

Resource Speakers
Mr. Mennen Aracid

 

Mr. Mennen Aracid is an Information Technology professor at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. He is also the General Manager of Inspire Leadership Consultancy, Inc. Furthermore, he serves three government agencies as its in-house consultant for strategic planning. He specializes in strategic execution, process excellence, and executive coaching, with 28 years in lifelong learning and adult professional education. His work experience further includes sales and negotiations; project management; facilitation and course design; and competency modeling and business communication.

Mr. Aracid has a Bachelors degree in Science major in Legal Management from the Ateneo de Manila University and a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University. He is in the final stages of his dissertation for his Doctorate degree in Business Administration.
