THE POWER OF NEW MEDIA
The exponential advancement of information on the internet and use of social media in the past decade has over rule the culture of mainstream media. The rise of new media has increased communication between people all over the world. It created shorter link between brands and consumers. Every time a consumer goes online to shop for a low-cost fare or buying expensive gift item, new media is on both sides of the transaction.
This forum will highlight how new media became a game changer in sales, advertising, and business. Knowing the power of new media allows people to structure and nest information into potential business opportunities
|Mr. Jonathan Petalver||
is the CEO and President of the Petalver Management Consultancy Services. He designs, conceptualizes, and conducts sales training and marketing programs to Top 1000 Philippine Companies as well as Multinational Corporations in the field of retail sales, hotels, and fast food chains, leisure, pharmaceutical, information technology, telecomminication, real estate, direct selling, and multi-level marketing companies. He is also the Program Director of Transformational Sales Leadership Programs of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business - Continuing Center for Education (AGSB - CCE).
He conducted trainings and workshops for various disciplines, such as: leadership, sales and marketing, customer service and personality development, effective business communication, team building, and motivational.
Mr. Petalver earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from the Centro Escolar University, and completing his Masters degree in Business Administration – Regis Program from the AGSB. He founded The Sales Champ Academy and The Sales Champ Club. He is the author of the Transformational Sales Leadership book See Saw Sell: Killer-Instinct Mindset to Sell More and Win More.

is the former CEO of Publicis Manila, one of the country’s top advertising agencies. She has been working in the marketingcommunications industry for over 20 years. She worked as a suit for JimenezBasic Advertising, Basic Advertising, McCann Erickson, Adformatix, and as project manager for Adware, a local activation and events group. Matec has handled key brands for Nestlé, United Laboratories, Cebu Pacific, Purefoods-Hormel, Metrolab, Monde Denmark Nissin Biscuit, Kimberly Clark Phils., SAFI-UFC, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, Cebu Pacific, Alaska Milk Corporation and Colgate Palmolive Phils. She is a Business Administration graduate of Maryknoll College and she completed the Top Management Program of the Asian Institute of Management.

is the Marketing Communications Director of Globe Telecom. Prior to this, he held several posts, such as: Global New Business Team Consultant in Havas Media Group-Spain and Senior Digital Manager in Havas Media Group-Singapore; Senior Digital Account Manager in REAP Interactive and Co-Founder and Creative Director of Ideo Studios.
Mr. David acquired his Bachelors degree in Business Management from the Ateneo De Manila University. He took a Masters degree in Business Administration from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He also took a Professional Diploma in Asia Pacific Marketing from the National University in Singapore and Marketing Institute of Singapore.
