Description
Cyber Resiliency is the ability of an organization to continuously deliver intended outcomes—such as critical business operations, customer services, and data protection—despite experiencing adverse cyber events like cyberattacks, system failures, or data breaches. It goes beyond traditional cybersecurity (which focuses on prevention) by also emphasizing adaptation, response, and recovery.
Cybersecurity threat is an active concern regardless of the status of the economy. The world economy is as vulnerable as its weakest link because of globalization of most multinational operations. Domestic operations in the Philippines is not spared since most local businesses provide the last mile support for the global business operating in the country like the BPOs. The key is not only to prevent and protect the threat but to develop plans to immediately detect, contain and recover from the threat. The process starts from careful risk mitigation plan that can quickly scale up to detection, isolation and cure of any threat.
This course will allow practitioners to have a practical view of the cybersecurity landscape, mitigating threats that can easily be contained and cured while building a solid wall to prevent cyber criminals from entering. In the event that exposure is inevitable, then devise a plan to quickly contain the situation and restore the operations to normalcy.
