Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Program Sales and Marketing Head, the Marketing Assistant assists in planning and executing marketing initiatives to promote the different programs of the CCE and all its Business Units (e.g., PO, IP, Ateneo BAP Institute of Banking [AB-IB], Le Cordon Bleu Ateneo de Manila [LCBA], Institute for Digital Enterprise [IDE], CU/Academies/Special Projects), liaising with stakeholders, and identifying marketing trends and opportunities for innovation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
I. Marketing Support
- Facilitates in-house production of marketing materials
- Prepares basic designs of marketing and graphic materials (e.g., brochures, catalogues, calendars, signages, posters, invitations, etc.), and coordinates with relevant CCE units for design conceptualization, timeline, and other relevant matters
- Updates materials regularly to ensure accurate and timely release of information
- Drafts presentation materials and other basic graphic design requirements for the Center, for the approval of the Program Sales and Marketing Head
- Prepares and disseminates communication materials across all channels/platforms (e.g., social media, digital/bulletin boards, etc.) and updates information regularly or as needed
- Coordinates closely with the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO) to ensure compliance with University directives, protocols, and branding guidelines related to communication
- Keeps abreast of marketing and communication trends, best practices, policies, procedures or new technology and assesses potential opportunities for integration into the Center’s current practices
II. Events Management and Administrative Support
- Implements in/egress arrangements for internal and external events (e.g., setting up of venue, manning registration, etc.)
- Handles the photo documentation of in-house events and other CCE activities
- Maintains database of existing partners and event sponsors
- Assists in processing financial requirements for events
- Canvasses and requests for quotations for event supplies and services
- Prepares summary of quotations, for review and approval of the Program Sales and Marketing Head
- Processes payments for supplies and services based on received sales invoices/ statements of accounts
III. Performs all other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor and authorized representatives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Technology Savvy: Ability to create, consume, and utilize digital media; Familiarity with social media and networks, email marketing, and search engines; Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet Applications;
- Graphics Design: Knowledgeable in any of the following programs/software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere); Ability to generate creative ideas and illustrate clearly; Knowledge of Basic HTML, After Effects, and Lightroom Basic, an advantage
- Coordination Skills: Ability to proactively coordinate, mediate, and manage actions in relation to others
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work and relate with teams; Comfortable with communicating/dealing with big groups and the public
- Organization and Prioritization of Work: Ability to effectively plan and coordinate the delivery of required outcomes, according to importance and urgency; Keen to details; Effective project and time management skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Multimedia Arts, or other relevant fields
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Work experience in Photography and Video Editing, an advantage
Stakeholder Relationship
- Program Sales and Marketing, Program Development, Training Services, and Administrative Services sections and various CCE Business Units – close coordination for marketing requirements and timelines
- UMCO – close coordination on communication directives, protocols, and branding guidelines
