One Day with Master Entrepreneurs: The Four Functions of Entrepreneurial Management is a course that will provide would-be and emerging entrepreneurs a bird’s eye view of the critical entrepreneurial issues divided across the four major functional areas of marketing, operations, human resources and finance. 

The contents are made by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs and delivered by fellow entrepreneurs-turned-mentors/facilitators. Learn the 21 Ps of marketing and how it is related to the QDP framework of operations. Learn how the 8 Rs of HR is supportive of the other functional areas and how they are translated into measurable indicators used in entrepreneurial finance.

Who should attend

The course is recommended for:

  1. Those who are thinking of taking the entrepreneurial path (employees, executives, etc.)
  2. Existing entrepreneurs; and
  3. Those who are thinking of pursuing further entrepreneurial studies.

After the course, you will be able to:

  1. Apply immediately the key concepts learned; 

  2. Obtain a basic understanding of the customer journey as it relates into marketing strategies and programs that meet or exceed customer expectations; 

  3. Have a better understanding of the Quality, Delivery and Price (QDP) framework in managing the operations function of an enterprise and its relation to the marketing;

  4. Understand what makes entrepreneurial leaders different from mere managers and the dynamics of managing people in an entrepreneurial environment; and

  5. Understand the language of business in financial terms and appreciate the importance of each transaction that affects the four financial statements - (income statement, balance sheet, funds flow, and cash flow statements).

  2. Entrepreneurial Operations: The QDP Framework 

  3. Managing People in Entrepreneurial Organizations: The 8Rs of HR

  4. Entrepreneurial Finance

Prof. Bianca Monica “Nix” L. Lañas

Prof. Bianca Monica “Nix” L. Lañas is a self-made entrepreneur and the CEO of Propeller Realty, a real estate company she built through her expertise and professional experience. A Silver Awardee of the Master in Entrepreneurship (MEnt) Batch 26, she has established herself as a dynamic leader in real estate and entrepreneurship.

In addition to leading her company, she is also an insurance agent for Oona Insurance and Mercantile Insurance, a columnist for Property Report PH by PhilStar, a video producer, and a professor. She currently serves as Associate Guru for the MEnt Batch 31 of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

Prof. Angela Monette “Choo” T. Natividad

Prof. Angela Monette “Choo” T. Natividad is a second-generation entrepreneur and the President and CEO of Sophia Jewellery, Inc., where she successfully leads the family business and continues to drive its growth and development.

She is also an educator in entrepreneurship, serving as a lecturer and Associate Guru since 2016, where she mentors and guides aspiring entrepreneurs in business strategy and enterprise development.
