Description
With relevant tools and frameworks, a well-structured training allows organizations to achieve their objectives. Therefore, for any training to become successful, it must have a solid training design as its foundation.
A Training Design synergizes the following elements of an impactful training event or experience:
a) SMART Instructional Objectives;
b) Well-sequenced Training Materials;
c) Relevant Learning Principles; and
d) Adaptive Training Methods.
This workshop follows a practical approach in training and instructional design that allows participants to go beyond theoretical principles by focusing on hands-on learning, real world-application, and problem-solving.
Who should attend
This course is for professionals who need to enhance their training and instructional design skills in creating courses that are impactful to their respective organizations.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Enhance their understanding and application of training and instructional design principles and practices;
2. Improve their competencies as training and instructional designers; and
3. Build and/or revise training courses that are aligned to standards and best practices in training and instructional design

Mr. John P Tigno is a Learning and Organizational Development Consultant who has supported multiple organizations in various industries for more than twenty (20) years.
He was a Learning & Development Manager at Arvato Bertelsmann (GER); Training & Organizational Development Manager at Binzagr (KSA); and a Master Trainer at Dell International Services (USA).
He has taught communications courses at the Ateneo de Manila University and the Development Academy of the Philippines.
Mr. Tigno graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University (Communication Arts; Literary and Cultural Studies) and the University of the Philippines (Industrial Relations; Human Resource Development).
He received a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge.
