Description
This module covers the strategic management of the purchasing function in an integrated supply chain environment, to ensure availability of quality materials, supplies, and services at a competitive purchase cost.
The sessions will extensively cover the proven buying methodologies and purchasing strategies to seize opportunities in the supply market.

Mr. Abet Bacsa is currently the Director for Operations of Inventory Exchange Holdings, Inc., a diversified Logistics Services company. He was also a former consultant of Global Procureit, Inc., specializing in Supply Chain.
He has been in the Supply Chain Management profession for more than 25 years having worked with Kraft Foods International as Manager, Procurement Services, Asia Pacific based in Australia and Singapore.
Prior to this, he managed the Materials Management team of Kraft Foods Philippines covering the areas of Production Planning, Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Warehouse and Distribution. He started his Supply Chain career in San Miguel as a Purchasing Researcher and as a Purchasing Section Head in Magnolia.
Mr. Bacsa is an Agricultural Engineer and earned his Master’s degree at De La Salle University.
