Training the Trainers Workshop: A Practical Approach in Training Design, Delivery, and Evaluation (IN-PERSON)

Description

Training allows employees to acquire necessary competencies (i.e. knowledge, skills, and attitude) or sharpen existing ones to perform better and increase productivity.

Training must then be managed by individuals who have mastery of the topics they are teaching and effective learning principles/practices. Trainers must not only be subject matter experts—they also need to be instructional gurus.

This workshop follows a practical approach in training the trainers that allows participants to go beyond theoretical principles by focusing on hands-on learning, real world-application, and problem-solving.

Who should attend

This workshop is for professionals (i.e., trainers, learning & development officers) who aspire to have a solid foundation in training design, delivery, and evaluation.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Enhance their understanding and application of ADDIE* (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation);
2. Improve their competencies as trainers and learning & development officers; and
3. Design, deliver, and evaluate high impact training courses that support organizational goals.

*ADDIE is an instructional systems design framework that instructional designers and training developers use in developing training courses.
