A Legacy of Learning: Ateneo CCE Turns 30

The Ateneo Graduate School of Business – Center for Continuing Education (AGSB-CCE) marked a meaningful milestone as it celebrated 30 years of providing continuing professional development programs through the Ateneo CCE Thanksgiving Night held on December 2, 2025, at Makati Diamond Residences. With the theme “Tatlong Dekada, Isang Taos-Pusong Pasasalamat,” the evening gathered partners, faculty, alumni, and friends of CCE for a night of gratitude, reflection, and celebration of three decades of transformative learning.

CCE Executive Director Marleth S. Calanog opened the program with words of thanks, acknowledging the collaboration and trust that have strengthened CCE through the years.

She was followed by AGSB Dean Jowett Cecilio “Jet” F. Magsaysay, MBA, PhD, who reflected on CCE’s beginnings and how it has consistently responded to market needs—designing programs that help organizations develop leaders and strengthen management capabilities.

A video message from Ateneo de Manila University Vice President for Higher Education Maria Luz C. Vilchez, PhD emphasized CCE’s enduring role in advancing professional excellence across industries.

The celebration was further highlighted by the message of Ateneo de Manila University President Fr. Roberto C. “Bobby” Yap, SJ, who honored CCE for demonstrating how Jesuit education continues through lifelong learning beyond traditional degree programs.

Special recognition was given to the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP), with Managing Director Benjamin P. Castillo representing the organization, honoring BAP’s instrumental role in CCE’s formative years and its sustained partnership.

CCE also honored Larry S. Esguerra IV, Program Director for Finance and Accounting, for his long years of service and meaningful contributions to CCE’s growth and impact.

Representing one of CCE’s key partner organizations, Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines, Inc., Heraldo Cañarejo, Supply Chain Excellence Director, shared insights on how CCE programs have contributed to capability-building and organizational growth.

Rodolfo P. Ang, Ateneo de Manila University Vice President for Administration and former AGSB Dean, led the community in a heartfelt toast—honoring three decades of excellence marked by partnership, purpose, and impact, while also looking ahead with optimism to the many years of growth, innovation, and service that lie before Ateneo CCE.

The performances by The Leggerio Strings and Pansol Choir brought elegance and emotion to the evening, lifting spirits and underscoring the celebratory atmosphere of CCE’s milestone anniversary.
