Description
A one-day execution-centric bootcamp that converts recognition of AI’s impact on teaching into operational redesign. Participants work through three live builds and a team capstone: a Socratic AI tutor for one concept in their own course, a paired exercise in evaluating and rebutting AI-generated critique, and a discipline-cluster redesign of one current assessment using disclosure and process-trail patterns. The day closes with each participant drafting a defensible governance position for AI use in their courses, and with team pitches to a peer leadership panel.
The bootcamp draws faculty across disciplines and institutions, with cross-institutional group work designed to surface what is shared and what is discipline-specific in the response to AI. Anchored in five teaching patterns and a minimal three-position governance framework. Participants leave with built artifacts and a four-week implementation commitment.

After the course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize where AI changes the contract between faculty and student, and name what is now actually being assessed in your courses.
- Operate AI as an instrument of teaching by building one working Socratic tutor for a concept in your own course.
- Inhabit the role of evaluator of AI output through the first-critic discipline, building the discriminating judgment that survives the technology.
- Redesign one current assessment using disclosure and process-trail patterns, and write the rubric line that holds the redesign together.
- Draft a defensible governance position on AI use that you can take to your department, college, or institution.
- Leave with a written four-week implementation commitment that turns recognition into changed practice.
After the course, participants are expected to:

Dr. Mario Domingo operates at the intersection of applied AI research, venture-building, executive accountability at national-platform scale, and academic formation in leadership and ethics. He currently serves as Regional Chief Technology Officer of CeQureX. Alongside this role, he holds a portfolio of advisory mandates positioned for the AI-driven transformation now reshaping enterprise, finance, and the public sector: fractional Chief Transformation and Technology Adviser to a major Philippine higher education system, a telecommunications subsidiary, and to a Philippine bank; technology adviser to the Philippine defense establishment on sovereign network architecture; and adviser on AI to senior leadership across multiple organizations.
His prior executive lineage includes service as Chief Technology Officer and CEO Officer-in-Charge of UBX through November 2025, an early Philippine institutional venture in blockchain and digital finance. Earlier in his career, he architected high-performance computing systems in production at the Cboe/Chi-X global exchanges: market infrastructure where correctness, latency, and trust at machine speed are non-negotiable.
He founded the Domingo AI Research Center (DARC Labs) in 2016, with work in medical imaging and cancer diagnostics, and co-founded DANATEQ Pte Ltd. in Singapore in 2010, focused on probabilistic AI for telecommunications infrastructure.
He holds a PhD in Leadership from Ateneo de Manila University (Critical Realism; Virtue Ethics, Deontology, Utilitarianism) and undertook post-graduate study in AI at MIT CSAIL.
Dr. Domingo is the sole resource person for this bootcamp. The patterns, builds, and frameworks taught in it are his own.
